Phalaenopsis bow in a white glasspot
The Phalaenopsis originally comes from the warm, damp
tropical forests of Southeast Asia. Give the plant a place
in the light but avoid direct sunlight. The ideal temperature
is ± 20 ºC (room temperature) Ensure that the temperature
doesn?t drop below 15 ºC. Giving water is only necessary
when the orchid ground dries out a little. Use softened water
at room temperature. Add fertiliser every third time you give
water and also spray the leaves at the same time. Once the
plant has finished flowering it can be cut back to 20 cm above
the pot to stimulate further flowering. You can keep your
Phalaenopsis in good condition by re-potting it in fresh orchid
ground every other year.
The best tips for caring for your plant:
